Review of ThanksKilling (2008) by Paris S — 03 Sep 2014
Self aware without being self deprecating, ThanksKilling is absolutely hilarious. It's intentionally 'so bad it's good', but hardly anything more than that. Some unintentionally funny moments will have you wondering if said moments were actually intended, but ThanksKilling never winks at the camera and lets you know for certain.
In that regard, ThanksKilling is sometimes better than the film itself gives credit for. Without wasting too much of your time, ThanksKilling does leave a small impression, and some of the quotes are genuinely memorable.
If you happen to see it on Netflix, I'd give it a watch if you're into this sort of thing. Also, points for an excellent villain.
