I will watch anything with Mark Ruffalo. I had very low expectations for this film. I expected something much more shallow - since it uses sex as a theme. Films about addiction signal cheap thrills and horror and suspense to me at the expense of communicating and understanding real tough issues.

There were elements of that opportunistic, dramatic angle in Thanks for Sharing. But, overall, it was about relationships between people who each have their flaws, some more dramatic than others.
