Review of Thank You for Smoking (2005) by Michelle B — 10 Mar 2010
As much as I HATE smoking, I thought this was a very well-done movie. It had me laughing. I felt angry, annoyed, interested. It really got me thinking. "Nick" was so good at what he does that he actually made me feel he had a valid point by the end.
He did great justice to the PR people and the BS-ers of the world. I love them and hate them at the same time. I could never be one of them - too much of a moral compass here - but there are a lot of people in the world who can definitely sell ANYTHING.
