Review of Thank You for Smoking (2005) by Alexander Z — 13 Apr 2010

A great insight and humorous look into public relations as a whole. Sure, tobacco takes the heat here, but the satire is more generally aimed. Perhaps funniest to me was how many holes I could see in every argument that Nick uses throughout the film, and yet sadly could also see how people could be flustered by or accept the flawed reasoning.

Naturally the dialogue is meant to be humorous and exaggerated, but it's sadly not far from the truth. And somehow, it manages to be non-judgmental.
