Review of Thank You for Smoking (2005) by Ricardo O — 21 Jun 2010
Thank You For Smoking is an excellent film, especially for the directorial debut of director Jason Reitman (Juno, Up In the Air). Great writing, great casting, and Aaron Eckhart is fantastic. An honest and darkly humorous look at Big Tobacco as well as a satire on lobbyists.
Reitman is definitely one of the best directors out there and with three films covering three important topics, the man can make a movie about anything and make it entertaining. 8/10.
