Review of Thanatomorphose (2012) by James A — 29 Oct 2013
The main character lives alone, and seems to find herself empty, despite having some friends and the company of some unsavory men. One of whom is a super-douche, the other who seems to be kind-hearted, but suffers from personal weakness that us men so often have a hard time resisting. She is suppressed by her mounting loneliness and frustration almost as much as the physical condition that consumes her.
Graphically impressive, with little dialogue, and some strange "indie" cutaways that reminded me of "The Ring" meets "James Bond Intro".
I will rate this one as Fresh, because the graphic and stomach-turning visuals are very well connected to the psyche and spirit of the main character.
