Review of Texas Killing Fields (2011) by Emily Y — 26 Feb 2012
I wanted to give this movie a try since I typically enjoy movies based on true events. Although sadly, this movie wasn't as suspenseful as it may have wanted to be but rather a movie that was disjointed and lacking in story momentum.
Quite a bit of unresolved anger flows freely throughout several of the characters, the main detectives work different cases yet try to work as a team, not many murders occur during the film (that's left to be assumed backstory) regarding The Killing Fields, and the local girl who goes missing (which I would assume tried to be the climax of the film) happens in the last 10 minutes or so.
Can't say I'd recommend watching this one unless you enjoy disjointed, depressing and angry themes throughout movies.
