Review of Terms of Endearment (1983) by Michelle O — 02 Aug 2008
Ok, I'll just say it: this movie effects me the way it does because Debra Winger's character - and her ordeal - reminds me so much of what I went through with my own mother. The goodbye speech she gives her sons...really, it could have been a scene from my own life.
Basically this is my one of my top "I need a good cry" movies. Great performances from all involved.
