Review of Terms of Endearment (1983) by Jack W — 10 Mar 2009
The film follows the lives of a mother and daughter. A melodrama to be sure but it has some heart and comedy as well. The best part of this picture are the performances. MacLaine and Nicholson won oscars for their performances.
Winger and Litgow earned nominations. The film also features great performances from Jeff Daniels(in his first film role) and Danny Devito. Winner of best picture, director, screenplay, actress, supporting actor 1983.
