Review of Terminator Salvation (2009) by Alexp — 28 May 2009
This movie was bad right from the title sequence. There was never any connection to the characters, so I found myself entirely disinterested in the action sequences. There was no story, and the only story presented felt like a friend pausing the movie to tell me what happened in T1 and T2.
It's pretty apparent that McG saw the earlier movies as having done his work for him, and all he had to do was "bring it home." That is lazy directing and a waste of my time. I would have left the theater if I hadn't watched T2 over 100 times in my childhood, knowing I would have to see this movie eventually.
Anyone who gives this movie a high score is astroturfing.
