Review of Terminator Salvation (2009) by Andrew C — 01 Jul 2013
This is a worthy addition to the Terminator franchise: it retains excellent connections to its predecessors while still offering great updates to the plot and the special effects. As in previous installments, we're introduced to another model of machine but unlike previous editions this episode is set in the time after the apocolypse providing an entirely different tone.
There are certainly weaknesses in the film (especially with the secondary characters) but we're given more than enough action and intrigue (stuff blows up!) to make a fine summer popcorn flick. 6/13/9.
