Review of Terminator Salvation (2009) by Joseph G — 13 Sep 2015
This movie... I love all of the Terminator movies... except this one. This movie barely even felt like a Terminator film. First of all, a movie about the War Against the Machines is something that sounds good, but this film failed to portray that story properly.
I barely even caught the details of the plot and all I actually know about the plot is that it takes place during the future war. And well, I just have to say that the terminators in this movie had more emotion than the humans.
The cast chosen for this movie was poorly chosen and on top of that, the cast was pretty dull. In general, I just found it hard to sit through the whole movie, but I did anyways. Now, I'm going to be honest.
A lot of people would pick this movie over T3, but I'm not one of those people. Now, I know T3 had that female terminator, but I'd rather watch that than the CG Arnold in this film. In the end, I'm not even going to give this movie the satisfaction of a rewatch.
If you haven't seen this movie already, you can go ahead and skip this one. All of the other Terminator films are more worthwhile (yes that does include T3 and Genysis).
