I liked this reboot along with the obvious parallels between Genisys and T2. This film is by no means perfect and the villainous portrayal of John Connor is highly unsettling considering a good chunk of Terminator revolves around saving/protecting him.
It's a bit unfair to think that all that was for naught if he's just gonna turn out evil anyway. However, it's a good film but definitely not the best Terminator.
