Review of Terminator Genisys (2015) by Winona M — 03 Jan 2016
Terminator Genisys serves as an example of how to completely destroy the original filmmaker's (James Cameron) work and the Sarah Connor character arch developed over the first two films (she was already a badass character.
Why reinvent that?). Emilia Clarke was a good choice to carry on the Sarah Connor story. Unfortunately, this film has more holes than swiss cheese, is sub par on nearly every level, contains an excess of unintelligible exposition and takes our other hero John Connor (Sarah's son) and turns him into a villain - great way to destroy viewership from your most loyal age demographic (35-40+).
While all the instalments of the franchise after T2 were sub par, Genisys take the game to newly discovered low.
