There's some charm in seeing Arnie back in his iconic role but this is yet another step down; even worse than Salvation. The action is decent but sparse and there are some ambitious ideas but in execution the plot is far too muddled.

They've also taken huge iconic characters and reduced them to generic action stars and the attempt to retcon the franchise lore is pathetic.
