Review of Terminator Genisys (2015) by Bruce R — 21 Feb 2016

Very underrated, supported by its popularity outside the US. The fact that the amount of hate for this film from American audiences remained constant from before the release of the very first trailer suggests that a large, if not dominant, amount of hate for this film persists due to fuel from the hate band wagon, and the psychological peer influence associated with mob rule. I wish people were independent minded enough that things like this didn't happen, but films like Blade Runner prove that's not the case. Such unfortunate occasions are more prevalent in the modern times where opinions are not only permanently solidified, but also more accessible to the general public. This film is not as good as the first two films in the franchise, but definitely succeeds over Terminator 3 & Terminator Salvation, despite the mass produced weightless arguments against it. I, and James Cameron, approve.
