Ok, so it's not T2, but it's a good take on the terminator franchise, I enjoyed the movie with a few twists and turns on the original plot from 1984... I think the storyline was good but needed tweaks to make it crisp.
.. Also the marketing team should be fired, to release that John Connor was a terminator would have been a WTF moment and elevated the film, but the marketing made this a major spoiler.... Fingers crossed there are more terminator movies, but taking it to the next level with no major spoilers.
