T2 is still the reigning champion of the Terminator films. But I actually enjoyed Terminator Genisys a lot more than I expected. The story is kind of silly but substantial. The action is solid and fun.
The narrative is very well paced. In essence, it was made by filmmakers who still know how to make an action film.
