Review of Terminator Genisys (2015) by Evan B — 24 Dec 2015

I can't understand why critics panned this movie. I found the film immensely entertaining and the first true sequel to Terminator 2(the recent sequels were awful). It was action-packed, thrilling, and had some great set pieces.

It was a Sci-fi film that not only made you think but also reflect on the earlier movies in the franchise. It's great to see Arnold back in the role that made him famous. Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor was sensational and a total bad-ass.

The only negative is that the film wasn't rated R which I think hurt the seriousness of the film. I recently watched it again thinking that maybe it was just a fluke but I enjoyed it even more the second go-round.

It's my pick as favorite movie of the Summer and I hope they make another sequel.
