Review of Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) by Muldjord — 18 Jan 2020
This movie lost my attention about halfway through (and even struggled to keep it that long). It lacked an interesting plot beyond the usuals (yes, this is, sadly, where we've come to). They basically remade T2 but took away the emotion and physical palpability of the original masterpiece and substituted it with mundane bickering and surprisingly bad and overused CGI (not terrible, just a lot worse than I expected from a movie I would consider to be a high-profile flick). It suffers from the exact same thing as most modern action movies; the action is so intense and so choreographed, that it becomes silly. It lacks physical weight and feel.
Dark Fate is a moped on a racing track.
RIP Terminator franchise.
