Review of Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) by Toujours — 01 Nov 2019

Quite a disappointment but excellent acting by Luna and McKenzie. Hamilton is also not bad, but not great. It's the same old story line as other Terminator movies except the 'prophet' has changed. But what makes this the worst is that there is no decent music, the effects are average, the look and feel of the movie is like Terminator 3 and Genisys.

There's no nostalgia or dark/tension/horror to it. Very little emotion or care for the characters. Of course they had to give the Terminator a wife and kid just to mess up the whole illusion. I don't know whats going on in Hollywood nowadays, but they've lost the plot completely trying to please women, lesbians, gays, and what not instead of just making a decent movie.

Joker did it right. Transformers (2007) did it right. Cobra Kai series does it right. Terminator Dark Fate does not.
