Review of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) by Adam B — 07 Jan 2012
Casual fans of the Terminator films seem to dislike this third installment, but those who have enjoyed the first two movies oh, so many times will appreciate the care with which the producers crafted this third episode.
Given how poor the fourth film was and how completely ridiculous the "Sara Connor Chronicles" TV series became, T3 acquits itself well. The way the story line is tied up is thoughtful and believable, or as believable as any "terminator" story line can be.
Arnold was a lousy Governator and Husbandator, but the Terminator is the recurring role he was born to play. Claire Daines is wonderful as the female protagonist.
