Review of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) by Sandeep H — 25 Mar 2012
Considering that Jonathan Mostow had to fill the shoes of the legendary James Cameron and follow up his ground breaking work (Terminator), and perhaps the greatest action film of all time (Terminator 2: Judgement Day) I think he did a pretty decent Job.
While Rise of the machines doesn't live up to it's two predecessors it's still a solid action film and a very solid Terminator film mainly thanks to Arnold returning to be the T-101. However their is a little to complain about with this movie such as too much CGI, not enough of the original Terminator theme song, and Nick Stahl's OK but not great portrayal of an older John Connor.
