Review of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) by Ricky H — 27 Jul 2012
Not the best Terminator movie, and thanks to Salvation, not the worst. That would not have been such a bad thing if there were only three. Living up to the first two would be tough anyway, but this movie tried very hard.
Schwarzenegger carried this movie well as the Terminator and the supporting cast did an excellent job. Visuals in this movie were striking, especially the end. The action is flawless, namely the graveyard scene where explosive action is the order of the day.
The direction was excellent and it made the movie move along at a steady pace. It never felt like there was a lag and once it ends, you will wonder where the time went and why they had to go and make another one of these movies that only embarrassed itself in light of the greatness of the original three.
