Review of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) by Philip L — 25 Jun 2015
Terminator 3 is a rather poor imitation of T2 right down to the notion of Arnie being a good terminator protecting John Connor (now Nick Stahl and not as good or believable as John Connor) and his suddenly future wife Clare Danes. Linda Hamilton's Sarah Connor is casually written out (leukemia we are told - an illness later written out in the TV series when Sarah Connor then played by Lena GoT Headley time travels past it) from a morphing female Termintor the TX. More chases , more 'I'll be back' just more more more of the same.
Then out of nowhere the last 10 minutes which shock genuinely and set up the future... Sidenote I watched this in the Chinese Theater LA, the city chillingly destroyed in said ending.
