Review of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) by Bee B — 06 Jul 2015
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines has a lot of action, but it's just not compelling. The writing fails to establish any feeling for characters in peril.
It feels like it's doing things just to do them, with moves that are merely gimmicks. The nods to the earlier films are cheesy and forced, rather than smooth. Claire Danes in T3 is no Linda Hamilton in T2, but she's capable and she's more appealing than the John Connor in T3.
