It lacks the character depth of the second movie, and the whole thing feels very unnecessary (although I did like the plot and the ending of this film.) But there was enough action in it that made me go "you know what, it wasn't too bad.
" The performances are enjoyable, and some of the action is quite fun to watch. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is big, loud, dumb entertainment.
