Review of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) by Galaxy Quest P — 19 Oct 2012
It was alright, it more gets points for further chronicling the start of the war then the actual content it contains. The acting is pretty poor and really Arnold and the T-X are in it to try and keep up with the Cameron masterpieces then actual lending to the story.
The action and effects are great though and make for a visually great watch. Arnold was definitely slowing down and it shows off in his performances as it became all too robot. The comedic elements try in some places to make an appearance but fall short where the previous films took the dialogue.
The one quality comedy moment I found where Arnold tells tells Stahl and Danes to "relax ....RELAX" and besides the great "you are terminated" the dialogue was very straight forward and nothing screen-popping good.
It could have gone without begin made as it does little for the story other then showing what has been talked about and is coming in the already known plot. The action and Arnold are entertaining enough though that it is not a boring watch and you wouldn't feel cheated after a viewing.
