Review of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) by Enrica C — 15 Jan 2013
Very rarely does a sequel come out that is infinitely better than the original, but T2 is one of those rare occurrences of epicness. Everything that we liked about the first Terminator is stepped up to the next level in this movie.
Sarah Connor is no longer a damsel in distress; she is now a person that could go a few rounds with Chuck Norris and probably make it out okay. I love how her character has progressed from the first movie to the second.
Another great thing about this movie is Edward Furlong as the ten year old John Connor. He is hilarious and he steals the show from Arnold in almost every scene. Also, turning Arnold into a protagonist is much more appealing because we all just like him better that way.
Robert Patrick as the T-1000 is a great villain and the CGI they used on the character still looks really good today for the most part. I just liked the story better than the first, I liked the characters better, and I liked the humor in it, too.
Great movie, Grade: A+.
