More expansive and character-driven than its predecessor but loses none of its spirit and comic-like ridiculousness. textbook example of making a sequel bigger and badder than the last movie and actually improves upon the formula that made the terminator such a great movie in the first place (improved action sequences, exponentially improved special effects).
