Review of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) by John D — 15 Feb 2015
TE 2 is a complete package of an action packed blockbuster. I say that cause it is one of the most intense, most memorable action films I've seen. Cameron does it again, this time with his infamous Terminator franchise.
The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) was re-programmed by the future version of John Connor and sent back to save the young version of John Connor. To avoid's Skynet future plans, they are trying to get rid everything about it and move on.
Suddenly, T-1000 came, as it is programmed to terminate the young John Connor. Now this film gets intensified. The plot is simple yet very straight forward. Like there's no more bullsh*t and just being straight to the point.
And the action scenes are pretty legit. It is over the top, but very realistic in terms of explosions and gunfights. The chasing scenes are one of the most memorable chasing scenes ever in an action film.
You kinda feel for everything, especially for the characters. The relationship between the kid and the cyborg is funny yet cute to watch. But then, easily one of the most well made sequels ever made. It's gripping, and it's a nail biter till the end.
Tops my list of the most bad ass action films ever. 5/5.
