Review of Terminal (2018) by Magnus S — 11 May 2018
This movie is not as bad as every arm chair critic whose never acted, produced a film worth seeing or made a movie in their life wants you to believe. It's like those who can't do, become critics.
The film has it's twists and turns and not a bad effort being produced by Margot as well. Sure, it's totally filmed like a 72 hour drug trip to Amsterdam's red light district, or Berlin in the 80's neon, film noir, but why does our culture pretend our attention span is not less than a goldfish these days (yeah it's true folks), and we do love to gawk at bloody things even to say, eeew, because it makes us feel alive so we can dissect it to death.
The movie is entertainment. You want Oscar worthy, go somewhere else, but if you want to get out of your hum drum existence for a bit and experience something visually offbeat, not looking for the Holy Grail and the Second Coming of Christ then you've come to the right movie.
It's still offbeat and entertaining enough, stop acting like the 90 minutes you would have taken of your bathroom selfies for a dating site would have been any better. Oh just stop it. See the movie, live a little, stop the blah blah bitching or go make your own film.
