I really hope that this film will remain Vaughn Stein's last film writing experience.

Honestly, I suppose that they decided to start making the film like this:

+ Hey guys, you know Harley Quinn's tremendous fame after Suicide Squad, Why don't we shoot a solo film for her? But this time let's do something different.

- What about making something like Pulp Fiction?

+ Yeah! Exactly.

- Plus, I really love Blade Runner, let's add loads of neon-lighted scenes (I mean really loads).

+ Wait a minute, What about a screenplay?

- I am starving. Let's go out for dinner.

I know it is too absurd but let's admit that it is absurd as much as the film. The first time I saw the trailer I thought that finally, we would see an amazing action film in 2018. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The storytelling style and, indeed, the plot literally ruined the film. The film uses a lot of plot twists and shock reveals and I think the only reason made me watched the film to the end is that. To be honest, I am not a fan of Margot but I have to admit that she perfectly delivers her character and as always her evil smile is amazing.

Let me summarize.

For the first 20 minutes, you say "it will be amazing".

Between 20 and 60, you say "What the h**k did you do, Vaughn Stein? Okay, maybe I am overreacting, let's see what will happen at the end".

Finally, at the end of the film, you say "Vaughn Stein, Look, buddy, just don't do it. Okay? Please, don't do this.

In the end, if you have enough time to watch lots of films, watch it. However, if you have little time. It will get your nerves at the end.
