Review of Tenet (2020) by Aaronjupiter — 17 Sep 2020
Nolan movies are all lacking character developement and emotions. They are like a designer couch nobody wants to sit on, because at first glance it looks extraordinary, but the more you look at it you think it’s all concept and function but what’s most important isn’t there: it isn’t emotional and doesn’t touch your heart! Christopher Nolan movies are all pseudo intellectual! He tries to be so smart and intelligent that he forgets that feelings and emotions make a good movie and when it’s smart and clever it will be a very good movie.
When you don’t care about the protagonists in a movie anymore the director has failed. To carry this metapher further inTenet Christopher Nolan showed everybody again that he is able to design a sofa that’s maybe different and unusual, but he fails to make it comfy and desirable.
