Review of Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006) by Edgar C — 20 Aug 2011

It hurts to know this trash-can of a comedy could have been something different if it had followed the extreme-camp steps of the last 20 minutes and Kickapoo's introduction, so The Pick of Destiny is actually something odd of a genre mixture brutally cut in half... or not in half, exactly, because the only fun you get is the whole Satan sequence. There was enough material here to guarantee another aim, but that was dropped.

Anyway, those last 20 minutes had me laughing, and you'll have to excuse my modesty, but that's a huge honor for a movie :).
