Parts of the movie are hilarious and original, but I could see why many people couldn't get into it. All of the humor is similar and over the top so you have to go into the movie ready to not take it seriously, at all.
Similarly to the attitude that you must go into Zoolander with as well. It's a fun movie to watch, and as I said before it's absolutely hilarious at times, but it doesn't always work. If you're fans of the band you have to see the movie, if you like Jack Black this one's also for you.
If you're a fan of neither then you might want to stay away from this one.
