Review of Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006) by Peter C — 16 Dec 2009
I loved JB's "performance" in Brutal Legend, and I kind of respected his band, but this mindless metal comedy just made me finally realise how annoying he can be! The lyrics were not that funny, and the visual style just made this biographical parody look cheap and trashy.
Which is kind of the point, but I couldn't find it amusing.
