Review of Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006) by Martin B — 09 May 2010

While the comedy here needs work, the music is what drives the movie. Jack Black can be very funny, but here it just doesn't shine through as much as I hoped it would. I'd recommend this film on account for it's soundtrack and people who don't want to go through 90 minutes of inane silliness would be better off just buying that.

But if you love rock music and have some free time that you're looking to kill, it's worth checking out.
