Tenacious D is not for everybody. It's a triple joke. They are fatass rockers who believe their rock is awesome enough to melt faces and fight demons. But when they start playing they sort of deliver on this fantasy.
So much, that by the end, they are the Devil's arch enemy. "I'll get you Tenacious D!". Silly lyrics, awesome songs, a plot that embraces and enjoys it's own stupidity. It's worth a watch just for the songs.
