Kind of a prequel to the HBO series....in fact, that's what it surprisingly is (despite a continuity error with Lee's first appearance), so I'll forgive the lack of including their "later" material, which many of us have heard before.
The script has some belly laughs, but it could have been much stronger, and ultimately a little disappointing for fans of the television series. Not a bad comedy by any means, but it certainly had the potential for greatness.
