Review of Ten (2002) by Shalome K — 25 Jul 2007
This film manages to say a lot with very little. The entirety of the narrative framing is confined to the front seat of a car, relying on naturalist acting and (an almost voyeuristic) minute focus to engage.
The resulting effect is an interesting and evocative, if dulling, look at women's rights in modern Arabic society.
