Review of Temple Grandin (2010) by Shan L — 10 Feb 2010
This movie was well-written, well-acted, well-directed and well-filmed. It is an inspirational story about Temple Grandin, a woman living with autism. Claire Danes did a very convincing job of portraying her.
This movie really allowed me to understand Temple Grandin, how she conceptualizes her thoughts, her perserverance, her fears and how all it takes is those certain few people to have an open-mind and open-heart to help her reach her goals and become the woman she is today.
I also like how, unlike most films that portray a disability, this one doesn't make you feel sorry or pity. It's a movie that not only gives hope to autistic people and their families but to everyone!
