Review of Temple Grandin (2010) by Frank M — 11 Apr 2010
I have no idea how true to the facts this movie is, but I loved it. Danes did a wonderful job as the main character Temple, an autistic woman who has savant like photographic thnking. Her unique thinking limits her ability to understand human behavior but gives her a unique perspective on animal and mechanical actions.
I'm not a big crier, but dang there were some moments when I was tearing up. Great character interactions, Danes just did an amazing job with portraying her innocence, her pain, and growth. Its also an interesting look at the cattle industry, I'm thankful that Temple was able to use her unique abilities to make cattle farming a touch more humane.
