Review of Temple Grandin (2010) by Antonio J — 13 May 2010
Best movie I've seen in many years. Very well crafted, informative, entertaining, and above all, it manages to touch emotions in very simple yet powerful ways. I never cry, but I could feel myself holding back tears a couple times.
True story that brings you into the world of autism, but not gooey. I cannot imagine the emotions that it would bring to people with autism in their families. Excellent acting, excellent screen writing, and excellent production.
It is an HBO movie so it's made only for TV. Maybe it is, or will be out on DVD for those w/o HBO. Highly recommended.
