Wow. I usually don't like biopics, but this one got to me. Perhaps having a child with Aspergers this struck me a little more profoundly than it might have otherwise. When someone you love sees the world so differently, it couldn't possibly be more important to be able to put yourself in their shoes and try to see things through their eyes.
I am so grateful to the makers of this film and others like it to help me understand just a little bit more. I -think- this was also an excellent movie - and Claire Danes deserved some kind of award - but I am admittedly a little biased.
