Of all the movies that portray characters of different mental capacities such as autism and retardation, Temple Grandin shines perhaps the brightest.
Movies like Forrest Gump, Rain Man, I Am Sam, What's Eating Gilbert Grape and others have used brilliant actors and have amazing portrayals. However, Leonardo DiCaprio's performance in What's Eating Gilbert Grape is the only that could possibly meet the believability that Claire Danes has shown.
Absolutely terrific movie and performances.
