Review of Temple Grandin (2010) by Diki G — 28 Dec 2011
Claire Danes is great as Temple Grandin, an autistic woman who saw things differently, and changed the way and changed the way farms and slaughterhouses treat cows. The cast is solid, but it is Danes who shines throughout.
The movie is also fun, it doesn't get up its own ass with melodrama the way other biopics can, it never treated the subject as anything other than what she as, a person with challenges to overcome.
..and manages to becomes someone quite remarkable.
