Review of Temple Grandin (2010) by Jason N — 18 Jan 2014
Great performance by Claire Danes and makeup and costuming. You could tell that she was really into the role and making it believable that she was Temple Grandin. At first I didn't understand some of the images they were putting into the scenes, but then realized that they were trying to get us to understand things from an autistic person's perspective, such as taking figures of speech literally.
And prolific "good guy" character actor David Strathairn also shines as the science teacher that first sees her potential.
