As a movie, this film sucks. It fails in every quaility that lies in good films. And it's message is so outspoken, it would never pass by today's standards. But it's hilarious! In that "so bad, it's good" sort of way.
From what I know, reefer doesn't do anything as drastic as the movie depicts. I can't believe this movie was a part of such a propaganda movement. Heck, if I saw this film in the '30s, I might've decided to take up weed so I could become a better piano player! Ha! The purpose of the film has been defeated!
