Review of Tell Your Children (1938) by Karl V — 03 Jan 2009
Giving this film a high rating or a complimentary review would be very silly. Intended to be a chilling study of marijuana's lethal effects on clean-cut American youths, it is a documentation from a time of misinformation and paranoia.
As a result, it is hysterically funny to watch in the context and knowledge of our times. As someone who is opposed to substance abuse, I found this 1930s anti-marijuana film to be thoroughly amusing.
